It is difficult to predict where the Montréal Victoire and PWHL will end up.  Growth has pushed the team out of the Verdun Auditorium into Place Bell, a move that has been successful.  Whether the Victoire continue to grow, requiring another move to a larger building, remains to be seen, but it is not out of the question.

The Hood Blazers are one of the newest college ice hockey programs, representing Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. The Blazers compete at the Division III level, and only have a women's hockey team, not a men's one. Since there is no ice rink on the Hood campus, the Blazers compete about three miles away at Skate Frederick, a local ice rink. The Delaware Blue Hens women's ice hockey program was upgraded from club to NCAA level in 2025, and now competes in Atlantic Hockey America, a hockey-only conference formed in 2023 by the merger of the men's-only Atlantic Hockey and the women's only College Hockey America. They play their home games at Fred Rust Arena on the UD campus.
