Since their inception in the National Hockey League in 1970, the Vancouver Canucks have been the focus of Canada’s west coast. They have been a franchise that has come close to the ultimate prize on a couple of occasions and provide a great NHL experience.

The Abbotsford Canucks are now providing the parent Vancouver Canucks with an ideal affiliate location. The AHL club has brought historic Canadian character, Johnny Canuck to the forefront of the league and present a good AHL experience for fans.

The Vancouver Warriors are putting together one of their best seasons to date. Returning to Rogers Arena under the ownership of Canucks Sports and Entertainment has been a boon for the team and they are quickly becoming an upper echelon team in the National Lacrosse League.

The Vancouver Giants do not play in Downtown Vancouver and are a bit of a hike for those who dwell in the city. However, the Giants do have one of the most attractive venues in the Canadian Hockey League and provide a solid gameday atmosphere which should not be missed.

The Victoria Royals may seem a bit isolated being located on Vancouver Island. However, Victoria is an excellent tourist destination and the Victoria Royals can definitely be a part of the excitement. The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre provides a solid junior hockey experience and fans will definitely enjoy the experience.

While BC Place may no longer be the jewel of the CFL, it could still offer a fun time if you are in the area.

The Kootenay Ice are a very successful hockey team playing in a town with a rich hockey history.

Referred to locally as The Nat, Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium has been home to baseball fans in Vancouver, BC 1951.
