The Maryland Terrapins compete in Division II of the ACHA, and as there is no ice arena on campus, they play their home games in nearby Laurel, at the Laurel Ice Gardens, a municipal rink that is home to several different amateur teams.

The Tucson Arena is a nice arena in which to watch ACHA hockey.

The Liberty Flames hockey team plays at the ACHA level of the NCAA. They play their home games at the LeHaye Ice Center in Lynchburg, VA.

The University of Delaware has some very serious hockey teams, not to mention a high-level ice skating program.
