Thompson Arena is one of those unique old hockey barns that remind you why we take Stadium Journeys. While Dartmouth fans will gladly tell you about the Big Green’s good old days, they continue to support the team through thick and thin.

Bright-Landry Hockey Center is a simple, but attractive rink that fits the needs of the Crimson program perfectly. Featuring just enough modern amenities while honoring the lengthy history of Harvard hockey, this is a worthy addition to any Boston hockey road trip.

Taffy Abel Arena is the Jewel of the North and taking in a game there is a must for college hockey fans. It may not be fancy or shiny, but it has character and trumpets the accomplishments of the Lake Superior Lakers as loud as possible.

Walter Brown Arena holds a storied place in college hockey’s annals, and is worth a visit by any dedicated hockey fan. While the men’s program may have outgrown this facility, it is great to see this old barn live on as home to the women’s team.

Bridgewater Ice Arena turned out to be too small for the growing men’s hockey program, but for now, it’s the right size for the fledgling women’s Skyhawks. A bigger nest is planned for them to move into soon, but for now, the BIA suits these hawks just fine.

The Hood Blazers are one of the newest college ice hockey programs, representing Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. The Blazers compete at the Division III level, and only have a women's hockey team, not a men's one. Since there is no ice rink on the Hood campus, the Blazers compete about three miles away at Skate Frederick, a local ice rink.
