Although it may be the smallest centre in the OJHL, the Haliburton County Huskies are putting together a big time experience. S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena is one of the cleanest, brightest facilities in the league and fans will have a wonderful time at a Huskies game.

The Maryland Terrapins compete in Division II of the ACHA, and as there is no ice arena on campus, they play their home games in nearby Laurel, at the Laurel Ice Gardens, a municipal rink that is home to several different amateur teams.

There’s nothing especially flashy or fancy about Driscoll Rink, and it certainly isn’t convenient for fans of Roger Williams hockey, but that doesn’t matter for Hawk hockey fans, who have been waiting almost three decades for a return to the NCAA. The Delaware Blue Hens women's ice hockey program was upgraded from club to NCAA level in 2025, and now competes in Atlantic Hockey America, a hockey-only conference formed in 2023 by the merger of the men's-only Atlantic Hockey and the women's only College Hockey America. They play their home games at Fred Rust Arena on the UD campus.

After playing three seasons in the Bridgewater Ice Arena near campus, it was obvious that something needed to be done in order for Stonehill to compete for recruits in hockey-mad New England. While playing in an arena 30 miles from campus is far from ideal, having Warrior Ice Arena as a home nest has allowed Stonehill to schedule nationally ranked opponents while they await their shiny new on-campus home.

Northeastern has been very quiet about what the future holds for the Matthews Arena site, which has led to rumors that red tape has held up the project, or that a renovation is being considered rather than a total replacement. A visit to the Northeastern hockey websites only display the schedules through December, when Matthews is due to close. No matter what is happening next at Northeastern, hockey fans are running out of time to take one last look at this historic rink.

When heading to the Niagara Region, a stop in Port Colborne is a great idea. Catching a Port Colborne Sailors game at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre is a great way to watch some solid hockey and not spend much money.

With the rebrand of the London Nationals complete and the season in full swing it is clear that the Nationals offer a solid product. The Western Fair Sports Centre is a clean and comfortable venue that is a good home for Junior B hockey. With the Nationals back on track, hockey fans should take in a game at Western Fair.

The future of sporting events at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is uncertain, as a new study may recommend redeveloping the arena and neighboring Miller High Life Theater for uses like a large convention hotel.
