A lot has changed around Southern Miss football in the last few years. The move to the Sun Belt Conference in 2022 ended a 27-year run in C-USA and placed Southern Miss in a league filled with regional opponents, familiar names, and shorter road trips. Four years later, the Sun Belt no longer feels new, but change has continued around the program.

Watching an Army football game at Michie Stadium is more than just a game. It is part history lesson, part sporting event, part 4th of July.

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football team is nicknamed the Blugolds, a creative play on their team colors. The Blugold band is ginormous, boasting 400-475 members, which is about half the size of the school’s total student-athlete total population.

Connecticut football games at The Rent are an enjoyable experience. The stadium is nothing spectacular, and the atmosphere can fall flat at times, but what The Rent lacks in character, it makes up for in convenience and practicality. Despite recent success on the field, the potential of a UConn football experience may never be reached unless they move to a venue on campus.

Finley Stadium has served as the home field for the Mocs since 1997 and offers a superb game day experience.

While moving up the ranks, the UIW Cardinals settled at the NCAA FCS level as members of the Southland Conference. Beginning in 2018 the team has gone on a tear, winning four Southland Conference championships.

West Liberty University offers a scenic setting for football with a great home game atmosphere, including a party deck for alumni and bucket-style chairback seats for about half the fanbase.
