Ontario’s Latest Buzz
Ontario, California is the gateway to the Inland Empire. Located approximately 45 minutes east of Downtown Los Angeles, Ontario is no stranger to hosting professional sporting events. Through 1980, the Ontario Motor Speedway, once located where the current Toyota Arena sits, was the site of various NASCAR, NHRA and Formula One racing events.
Over the years, Ontario has been a passing ground for future Los Angeles Clippers and is currently the home to the Ontario Reign, the minor league affiliate for the Los Angeles Kings.
In 2024, the City of Ontario announced a new minor league partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers with ground breaking during the same week the Dodgers were capturing their first of back to back championships.
The excitement of a new ballclub finally came to fruition as ONT Field officially opened on March 21, 2026 with an official capacity of 6,500.
Food & Beverage 4
Aside from your usual ballpark staples of hot dogs, pizza, chicken tenders and burgers, ONT Field has a plethora of ethnic food options from Mexican, Asian and even Greek. Mexican options range from birria burritos to your usual tacos and gameday nachos and cheese. An always popular Greek food item is the gyro pita. If you’re in the mood for some Asian fare, teriyaki chicken and pork belly ballpark bao buns are also available.
An outdoor bar in the outfield area known as the Baggage Hall is available for fans to hang out and enjoy their favorite libations, featuring domestic Coors/Miller brand brews along with other craft choices.
A permanent dedicated ice cream stand is also located next to the Baggage Hall serving up a variety of ice cream flavors and both traditional and waffle cones. Along with that favorite summer time frozen treat, assorted candies along with kettle corn, cotton candy and the timeless Cracker Jack are also available.

The moment you set foot inside ONT Field a literal towering buzz is felt. With staff dressed as airport attendants and the nods to the aviation industry and nearby Ontario Airport paired with undoubtedly the most up to date Single A facility throughout the MiLB circuit, the game day atmosphere at ONT Field is lifted several levels above your usual Single-A experience.
Its affiliation to the back-to-back defending World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers, with numerous reminders throughout the yard, including that of Dodger Stadium’s iconic hexagon shaped score/video board has certainly added a Major League flavor to the game day atmosphere.
Neighborhood 3
The surrounding area is a work in progress. Scheduled for completion come late October, the adjacent Ontario Sports Empire will be the largest mixed-use sports complex of its kind west of the Rocky Mountains. With 20 multipurpose fields, 14 youth diamond fields, 8 full-size diamonds, 4 football/rugby fields, and 2 championship fields, the venue is built to accommodate regional and national tournaments as well as local games. The OSE is another latest addition to the ever growing Ontario entertainment landscape.
Your best bet for pregame dining would be along Euclid Avenue in Ontario Town Square. A slew of hotels are near the airport 3 - 6 miles away.

The overwhelming buzz of support for the Buzzers has been evident during the franchise’s inaugural season as Buzzers fans have frequently packed the yard in droves. The excitement of a new franchise affiliated with the Dodgers along with a community whose sports identity continues to grow has contributed greatly to the huge fan support. The stands are consistently filled with both Buzzers and Dodger Blue sprinkled in with some of that bright gold shine that compliments the blue perfectly.

ONT Field provides plenty of onsite parking with major freeway access close by. Ontario International Airport (ONT) is just six miles from the ballpark. Fans flying in for a visit and staying at a local hotel, can use the GOAT (a free shuttle with transfers between the airport, hotels, and key destinations in Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga) to get to ONT Field.
Inside the stadium you will experience the only Single-A facility and possibly the only minor league facility where fans can roam the concourse throughout the entire stadium while not missing any of the action. Several standing room spots can be found throughout the concourse as well as above the outfield walls of certain areas, giving fans the opportunity to experience the game from various different areas.
Return on Investment 3
Though tickets can start off at $5 for Tuesday night games and $14 standing room only tickets give you access throughout the yard, the prices can get a bit steep for a minor league experience as tickets closer toward the dugouts and home plate can run as much as $40.
Party suites are also available for a premium price. Without a doubt, the affiliation along with the excitement of a first year franchise tied to the Dodgers brand has given the Buzzers the opportunity to charge some premium prices. Because of the excitement surrounding the Buzz, the ROI has not seemed to dull the power of the buzz.
Extras 4
Because of its affiliation with the Dodgers, there will be some noticeable tributes to the parent club and its history, including a mural of Fernando Valenzuela and highlights of the parent club’s historic moments, including Joe Davis’ most recent call of Freddie Freeman’s 2004 walk off grand slam, “GIBBY MEET FREDDIE !”.
Aside from tapping into its Dodgers affiliation, the outfield concourse has a playground for the little ones that includes a vintage plane model and a mini water park. When a home run is smashed by the home team, a dazzling light display from the aircraft along with some waterworks are set off.
Keeping with the aviation theme of the organization, certain areas of the pedestrian concourse are outlined in the fashion of an airport runway. If that’s not enough, inside the team store is an actual live ONT Airport board that provides live updates of arriving and departing flights from the nearby airport.
