The only reason to go to a Brewers home game during Spring Training is if you are a hardcore baseball traveler. Getting to the park itself is awful, and then once you’re in it doesn’t get any better. Yesterday, before a crowd of Atlanta soccer supporters including groups like Terminus Legion, the city of Atlanta was officially named as the home of Major League Soccer's 22nd franchise. The new club will join the league in 2017. League Commissioner Don Garber extolled the virtues of the city before Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and the team's owner, Arthur Blank, who also owns the Falcons, spoke about their excitement to bring pro soccer to town.

Dudy Noble Field, the No. 1 ranked college baseball venue by Stadium Journey, not only provided the scene for a dramatic tenth inning victory for the Mississippi State Bulldogs over the Ole Miss Rebels this past Saturday, but it also saw an all-time attendance record set for an on-campus NCAA baseball game.
