Myrtle Beach Pelicans Rename Ballpark

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans announced a one-year deal with TicketReturn.com making Pelicans Ballpark's new official name, TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark.

Previously, naming rights had gone to banking, investment, and insurance company BB&T. Stadium Journey Magazine named the ballpark as the third best minor league ballpark in 2011.

Interesting they would only sign a one year deal

Seems like a lot of effort to sign for a short period of time. It probably takes just as much time to be re-create all of the marketing and signage that is associated with the new name!! We'll see next year at this time if the name changes again.
