This year, fans will anxiously await to see if their team will be playing in any of the host cities. Dayton will host the "First Four" on Tuesday, March 13th and Wednesday, March 14th at University of Dayton Arena. Can another team match the move from the First Four to the Final Four like VCU did last season?
The first full day of games will begin on Thursday, March 15th, with second round games being held at The Pit in Albuquerque, the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, and the Rose Garden in Portland.
Friday games tip off at the other sub-regionals in Columbus at Nationwide Arena as well as Greensboro Coliseum, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and CenturyLink Center in Omaha.
Teams that advance to the Sweet 16 will end up in Boston at the TD Garden, or the US Airways Center in Phoenix, or the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, or the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
The 2012 Final Four concludes in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. It has been a big year already for New Orleans, which has hosted a NFL playoff game, the Sugar Bowl, and the National Championship game. New Orleans will also be host to the 2013 Super Bowl.
Wherever your team may be this March, you should be in for a great experience, as all of the host venues rate very highly with Stadium Journey.
